Cyclists in the Netherlands collect 13.000 Euro for Sagrada Familia and Wichí Aboriginals (NIWOK)

Hilversum/Netherlands - On the 18th of may for the third time Dutch local politicians, students, teachers and two members of the board of Hogeschool Utrecht (University of Social Practical Work Utrecht), journalists and other citizens of Hilversum biked 80 km from the coast of Holland (Noordwijk) to Hilversum. The sponsor tour has been organised by the Dutch Organisation Ombú. The tour has been accomplished by a representative of the Argentinean Embassy of Argentina in The Hague.

Founder Marco van Stralen, who has been visit Argentina almost 20 times, was happy with a lot of new sponsors who paid a lot of money for the achievements of the bikers. The housing corporations Dudok Wonen, Alliantie and Gooi en Omstreken have sponsored politicians with almost 4.000 Euro. The contractors of the new school of the HU in Amersfoort (Burgfonds, Vink, DP6, IMDBV and BIA) and Congresso (an organisation specialized in Events and Meetings) did sponsor the teachers, students and members of the board with 4.000 Euro.

In August Marco van Stralen will visit Argentina and the projects who will be sponsored. Almost 10 families will get some credits for their new houses, build by them and Sagrada Familia, New playgrounds will be build in renovated former shanties and Wichí-Indians will get more help to develop their companies (Foundation Niwok).
